Inches are melting off.... clothes are getting baggier

Hi everyone!
Welcome to my blog.... Well it's been a little over two weeks since i last blogged. Opps, I said i would blog at least twice a week. Will try harder next week :)
It's been going real good. I have really great will power now, if that's what you want to call it. I call it just using all the band rules, most important rule, eating my protein first. That has helped lots. I just dont feel hungry, i have to remind myself to eat. I have been walking at least once a day, for the past three weeks. Have lots more energy. Over all I just feel so much better.

I was weighing myself everyday, I decided that that was sabotoging my success, because if the scale did'nt move I would get so down on myself, yet I felt like i was losing. Well i figured out that i have been losing inches, which will not show up on the scale. I read that you can only lose inches, or weight, not both. After I read that, I quit weighing myself daily, I weigh once a week. I use my clothes as a guide in losing weight, because they dont lie.. Before I restarted my weight loss i was fitting into a size 16, now my 14 are getting baggy, SO I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT.

Until next blog, wish me continued success, and good luck to all you lapbanders out there. Stop by and leave a comment, would love to hear from you all.

protein and getting enough calories

Today I really tried to get my protein in, which i did very well. 45 grams! which is good for me. My calories were 980. So we will see if the scale starts to move. I have been stalled for a few days now. I have been walking everyday for at least 1 hour. Hopefully one of these days the weight will start falling off. Till next blog.........

back in the swing of things.....

Today Is a great day, when i woke up this morning the sun was shinning, it was going to be a beautiful day. My mood is just like the weather....... shinning. I have finally got back on track with my weight loss. Since about Nov. I have not really worked very hard at losing the weight. I would eat things that were easy, like soups, icecream, yoguart, chips, crackers, all those don't touch foods when you are banded. Well I should of left them alone because they were very damaging to my success. I managed to gain 20 pounds back, after all my hard work!
So the other day I woke up and said this is enough. I worked so hard to get the weight off and if i did'nt get back on track i would have all the weight gained back. So It has been one week, and I have lost 5 LBS. Good start I think. I feel much better already.
